Sweet little Cricket has already gone through so much in her short life. As a kitten Cricket was diagnosed with FIP, Feline Infectious Peritonitis; a very devastating, almost always deadly viral disease. Treatment is very harsh, very expensive, and not often successful. Cricket is one of the lucky ones!
After 84 days of observation, Cricket was considered cured on 6 September and she came to the lounge to celebrate this milestone and to find her furever family. She is a chatty little love bug. When the lounge gets busy, she will find a quiet place to take a nap so she may not enjoy a rambunctious family. When things are a little calmer, Cricket can be found chasing her favorite toy; a colorful spring! We think she is so happy because she knows she is one of the lucky ones. We are the lucky ones to help her find her family.
Cricket will be happiest in a family where she can feel safe and loved. Once at home we think she will be a lap cat who doesn’t want to be too far away from her person. She will probably be perfectly happy with a (calm) dog friend she can snuggle up to and get into trouble with.
