Located on the backside of University Mall in Fairfax, VA, Patriot Pawsabilities offers a bright and colorful space where we invite you to come play and relax with our adoptable cats and kittens.
Bring your friends and let our cats help you study (by walking all over your lap top), join us for Crafting with Cats, Meowvie Night, or reserve the lounge for a private event.
Because we can not serve food or drinks, you are welcome to bring in any food or drinks that have been purchased here at University Mall. Are you ready to fall in love?

Before you visit, here are a few things you need to know:
~ When we have adoptions, all of the adoption fees stay with the amazing rescues we work with. So, in order to pay for food, litter, rent, etc, we do charge an entry fee to visit the lounge. The fees are as follows:
- Teens 14 and up and adults; $17
- Parent with 1 child; $23, each additional child; $12. Please note that one parent can bring up to 3 children 13 and under. If you are bringing more then that, you will need another adult. For the safety of your children and our cats, we only allow up to 5 children per hour. See below for our minimum age requirements.
- We do offer a 10% discount for all students, teachers, active duty military and their ID card holder dependents, Veterans, military retirees, seniors 62+, medical personnel, and First Responders (to honor Mo's Devil Dog friend Christie, this includes 911 operators). We are very busy on weekends so, in an effort to make room for more families, we offer students a deeper discount during the week; $15 per hour plus the 10% discount!
~ Until we get our reservation system up and running, we ask that you call us at 703-259-0174 to make reservations! We do take walk-ins when we have room but we still recommend that you call ahead to make sure there is space. If you are bringing kiddos (see below for minimum age requirements), or you are planning to visit on the weekend, we highly recommend reservations!
~ When you call to make your appointment, please note that our appointments start at the top of each hour and are in increments of one hour.
~ Please note that we have a minimum age of 4 during the week and 7 on the weekend! This is for the safety of both your kiddos and our cats.
~ We do not allow shoes in the lounge so we ask our guests to make sure that they either wear or bring socks with them. No worries if you forgot! We have socks and slippers you can borrow.
